The project consists of the design of a two-story single-family house situated on a sloped site. To address this topographical condition, a split-level system was adopted, allowing the building to integrate harmoniously with the landscape.
The main facade presents a single-story volume facing the street, while the rear develops over two levels, organizing the private areas on the upper floor and the social areas on the lower floor, which maintains natural lighting and ventilation despite being designated as level -1.
The functional layout includes an entrance hall that provides access to the garage, technical area, and guest room/office on the ground floor. The private areas comprise a master suite and two secondary suites, all equipped with full bathrooms and balconies, clad with wooden slats that confer uniformity and warmth.
The lower floor is dedicated to social spaces—living room, kitchen, laundry, game room, and service bathrooms—and features large openings connecting to terraces and the garden, promoting continuity between interior and exterior. The kitchen incorporates movable panel systems that allow functional elements to be concealed, enhancing the space’s flexibility.
The project demonstrates a contemporary approach, distinguished by the integration of natural materials such as exposed concrete, wood, and stone, and by emphasizing spatial fluidity and connection with the outdoors, resulting in a functional, comfortable, and contextually harmonious residence.
